was completely scared out of my wits.

I lifted my gaze and found that it was Chris.

We sat down on a nearby bench. After some time, I said in a cracked voice, 
“I… I saw my child… Rina Olsen is in my room.” 
“Rina Olsen?” Chris looked down at his watch. “It’s three in the morning now. 
We don’t allow visitations at this hour. Could it be that you were having a

I shook my head. Then, I started telling him what happened earlier. “I wasn’t

accompany you back to your room, alright?”

As we arrived outside the ward, I was so scared that I hid behind Chris and 
refused to enter the room. Several nurses had gathered there since the door 
to my ward was opened and no one was inside. 
Chris asked all of them if they had seen a strange–looking nurse entering or 
leaving my ward, but none of them saw someone like that. 
Then, Chris checked everywhere inside the room and confirmed that no one 
was hiding in there.

We spent the rest of the night going through the surveillance footage. Still, I 
couldn’t find anything that indicated Rina was here.

I tugged at his sleeve. “Don’t leave.” 
I did not want to stay in the room all by myself. 
Chris sat on the bed. “There’s usually a lot of people in the canteen. You 
wouldn’t want to be there.”

There was an awkward silence as we both stopped talking. 
After a moment, Chris began, “Stay at my place instead.”
