Chapter 142 Caught You in the Act
Brisa drove quickly and ran several red lights along the way before arriving at Caltun General Hospital.
When she reached the emergency building of the hospital, she got out of the car and rushed in to push out a mobile bed from the lobby.
Then the two worked together to carry Radley into the emergency building.
A doctor approached them, but Freya didn’t have time to explain and directly rushed Radley to the operating room of the emergency building.
When they reached the door of the operating room, the doctor stopped Freya. “Miss, please wait outside!”
Freya furrowed her brows tightly as she knew that Radley had been shot, and the location of the injury appeared to be dangerously close to his heart.
Her hands trembled violently as she forced herself to calm down.
She felt like her soul was floating outside her body and heard her own voice saying, ‘Let me in. I am a doctor!”
The doctor wanted to say something, but Freya had already walked into the room in strides.
“Miss, your actions will delay the patient’s treatment!” The doctor hurriedly followed her in.
Inside the operating room, the nurses had prepared the surgical instruments rapidly. Freya walked to the surgical table and looked at Radley lying on the bed before turning to the nurse.
Her voice was icy cold. “Prepare blood packs in the blood transfusion department and bring them over immediately!”
Freya remained calm and reached for the surgical knife in the tray.
The doctor hurriedly approached her. “Miss, the patient’s injury needs to be examined with an X–ray first!”
Freya’s face was stern. “There’s no time for that!”
Given the severity of the blood loss, waiting for the X–ray results might be too late!
Freya stared at the location of the wound and quickly scanned through the blood vessels in the chest in her mind.
She directly took scissors and cut open Radley’s shirt. “We need to start the surgery immediately!”
The nurse on the side asked, “Aren’t you going to anesthetize him?”
Freya’s face was serious. “There’s no time. Hold him down!”
Several nurses looked at each other in confusion as they were clearly aware she was not their hospital’s doctor!
As the nurses hesitated, Freya was about to speak when a commotion erupted outside the operating room.
He was on duty in the hospital director’s office when he received a call from the emergency building and was informed that a woman had forcibly entered the operating room to perform surgery on the person she brought in!
If a medical accident were to occur, the hospital would be held accountable.
After Ethan entered, he met Freya’s eyes, and his panicked expression quickly turned cold.
He glanced at Radley, who was still bleeding on the bed, and made a decisive decision. “Dr. Jones, please leave. The rest of you, follow her instructions!”

Freya gripped the knife tightly while her heart trembled slightly.

Ten minutes later, Radley fainted again from the pain.

Brisa, who had been waiting outside, became anxious. “Freya, you haven’t had a checkup yet!”
Freya shook her head. I’m fine, Brisa. But could you do me a favor? My phone got broken at the banquet today, so please prepare some clothes for me and let my brother know I’m staying at Isabella’s house. Also, please help me get a new phone.
